MJC has an unusual structure of duel campuses in Modesto and a sister campus also governed under the same district in Columbia, Ca. The school chose to take this as an opportunity to cut the successful and inexpensive Culinary Arts program, and offer it only in the relatively small community of Columbia.


Modesto, with an unemployment rate in 2011 of 17.3% was outraged. In this special feature we’ve pulled together a small amount of footage we’ve collected on this program to try and tell it’s story. Unfortunately, the program ended far before the others and we were not able to produce a full episode as we did with the others.
